The Mortgage Brokerage team were delighted to support yet another client to secure their first home with a gifted deposit mortgage.
Based in Newcastle, Vicky was looking to take the first step onto the property ladder. Her parents wanted to support her in this process and offered to contribute towards a deposit on a property by means of a gifted deposit.
It was agreed that 5% of the deposit would be paid by Vicky, and 10% would be gifted from her parents.
We worked directly with Vicky to help her find a mortgage deal that met her criteria and contacted lenders on her behalf. We made sure to manage all of the paperwork, offering a clear picture of interest rates and mortgage costs.
To offer Vicky and her family complete peace of mind, we also arranged life insurance, building and content insurance and critical illness insurance, helping this first-time buyer save time and money searching for insurance products while ensuring she had the right level of cover for her circumstances. By opting for life insurance and critical illness cover, Vicky was confident that if anything were to happen, she would have a safety net that would help cover mortgage payments and day-to-day costs.
Vicky’s mortgage was completed in August 2023, and once settled into her new home, Vicky said;
“I want to say a big thanks to Gary, Rianna, Lydia and Sabrina. We had an absolutely amazing experience with this mortgage broker. I was a first-time buyer and they made the entire process so easy. I’ve heard nightmare stories from friends about their experiences getting a mortgage but this company was completely brilliant. They got back to me in a quick manner and helped both me and my partner understand the process. I would 100% recommend. Thank you so much for all your help, we’ll definitely be back when it comes time to remortgage.”
